Delta Sigma Phi was honored Saturday, November 13, with the Pyramid of Excellence award, their national fraternity’s highest honor. Out of seven other chapters that received the award this year, the Alpha Delta chapter had one of the highest scores in the application process.

The Alpha Delta chapter has met the outstanding qualities to achieve the Pyramid of Excellence award. Among their achievements are membership growth and retention, campus and community involvement as well as academic success. The Alpha Delta chapter has excelled in recruitment, growing 33% since 2008. Also, each member of the chapter averaged over 26 hours of community service, and all of the chapter’s members were involved in other campus organizations during the 2009-2010 academic year. In addition, each Delta Sigma Phi chapter member achieved above a 3.1 cumulative GPA in the 2010 spring semester, and the chapter had representation at every Delta Sigma Phi National event within the past year.

Congratulations Delta Sigma Phi!
